The EAGLE FEATHERS are placed at the top of the shield to denote "Spirit" – always first….The TURKEY FEATHERS are to symbolize the "gives-a-way" of our talents and gifts, given in order to achieve our dreams and aspirations...The OWL FEATHERS are part of this shield to honor the dream-giver and dreams given.  The one RAVEN FEATHER is for "magic" – to believe in dreams and the potential of them…The PORCUPINE QUILLWORK with the HORSEHAIR is for the power and protection of the dream….The MEDICINE TIES are for the prayers of the manifestations of our dreams.  The DREAM CATCHER is placed upon this shield to catch the dreams. Also to honor spider – that wondrous creature who creates such beauty for her own body, her web The LIZARD is for dreaming….The SNAKE is for the transmutation to occur.  The FROG is for the cleansing of our spirit and with the CENTER OF THE FROG is the "light" of the Creator – where the spark of life, gifts and dreams originate...The ROBE is the color of enlightenment and within the robe are seen the DRAGONFLY– so we may see the illusions and not be confused by them.
